  • The School Spirit Program has grown out of the highly successful School Ambassador Training Program delivered to school staff rooms in NSW and Queensland in 2015.

    The School Spirit Program provides schools with a foundation for greatly improving the relationship between your school and all of its customers - from teachers and students, to parents and administrative staff to the broader community.

The School Spirit Program
The School Spirit Program is delivered by passionate educator and presenter Michael Auden.  Michael brings a life time of experience as a teacher into this emotionally charged and practical workshop. Participants will be engaged, challenged, empowered and inspired to find the school spirit elements that highlight your school as a wonderful place to learn, work, and celebrate.
  1. What's great about our school - an interactive and fun-filled activity using the 60 plus What's Great about Our School cards.
  2. Story-telling is a powerful way to raise emotional capital in your school and the brilliant work happening each day in your classrooms.
  3. Building a Collegial Staff room will remind teachers that being a professional teacher carries with it a range of responsibilities and opportunities.
  4. Brand your staff room - an empowering and clarifying session to take control of how people experience your school.
  5. Adoption Agency - this  session will show how each one of us can go above and beyond to show that we care about our students and our school.
  6. Be an Empowering Teacher - here we explore those characteristics that make each teacher an important agent of empowerment.
  7. How many Champions can we find in our school? - We take a look at the passions and skills of the staff, students and parents.
  8. Ambassador Training Cards - the 60+ School Ambassador cards are a highlight of the School Spirit program.  It is saved till last to build a fantastic finale that helps each participant to commit to school improvement and school spirit.
The School Spirit Program can be delivered in a two hour format for after school workshops. 
Alternatively, it can be run over 3 or 4 hours as a part of a whole training day program.
Cost: 
Two hour workshop $1200
Four hour workshop $1500
Schools interstate from Michael Auden's Melbourne office may be up for additional transport and accommodation costs.

Schools that wish to run the School Spirit Program without an outside facilitator can buy the entire program on an interactive CD.
You receive an interactive web-based site with all the resources including the What's Great about Our School cards, movies, questionnaires, strategies, ideas, challenges, and the 60+ School Ambassador cards.  Both sets of cards also come in this kit as jpeg files so that they can be printed on 6X4 photographic paper.
